Member Devo: Appreciation
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. -Psalm 19:14
Recently at my school, there has been a death of one of the alumni.
It's really hard on their family and friends, and it got me thinking. After people die, we think about how amazing they were, how much we are going to miss them, and how we should have been better to them. Well, there are tons of people in all of our lives still that we would be totally devastated by their deaths. You still have them! And you can tell them now how much you appreciate them and be good to them and everything you wish you were to those in your life who have already died. People always say to live your life like you are dying. Live your life like others are dying too, because you never know when they are going to be taken from you. Use the time God has given you now to gain a closer relationship with your family and friends. Tell them how much you appreciate them; it will make their day and mean a lot to them. Just today I left a note on my Bible teacher’s board wishing him a good day, and he sought me out in class and told me thank you and that it meant a lot to him. Be especially forgiving and loving to your family. If mine were taken from me I would be devastated, though I’ve had my fights with them sometimes, just like everyone. Don’t leave them without forgiveness; it’s not worth the risk of guilt for the rest of your life if something happened to them. Learn to forgive and appreciate those around you.

Leaving little "nothings" notes around are awesome. You never know how much it could mean to someone to know that someone randomly thought of them.
Great Job :)
