Sunday Special Request Writer
Howdy (I’m from Texas),
My name is Steve Self and I’m
currently 31 years old. I am presently making my way through bible-college
and will follow God’s calling (to be a minister) on my life
as soon as I can. I have a super, awesome daughter (Amy) who lives
with her mother in another state. (I wasn’t always a Christian).
I have been an interim youth minister and am now presently the minister
for a college group at my home church.
I spent too much of my life running
from God, I never understood how the bible could help me in my day-to-day
life until the day God hit me upside the head with the truth. I
spent a lot of time in severe depression, alcohol, drugs and even
a suicide attempt, until Jesus took control and showed me the way.
NOW I’M COMPELLED TO SHARE HIS LOVE WITH EVERYONE!!! I want
to show everyone the love that God has shown to me!!! He helped
me and He can help you too.
I want to do my best to help you understand
how the bible can work in your life as well. I love the questions
you guys send in, please keep them coming. I look forward to hearing
from you. I pray that God blesses you through TDDM, I know He’s
blessed me.
