How to Share the Gospel How many times have you wanted to share your faith, but didn't? Success
is acting out your Christian life, sharing the Gospel and trusting God
for the results....success is not bringing someone to Christ. "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nation." (Matt 28:18-19)
Suggested Scriptures Rom 3:23 ~ "All have sinned." Truth: Five Steps 1.) Are you a sinner? PRAY Here is the Plan Questions: Yes ~ open Bible Additional Resources for different beliefs are as follows: Reaching for the Void Of Him and through
Him and to Him are all things to whom be glory forever. Amen. (Romans
11:36) NKJV. After staying up till 2 am working on this and a 2 liter of coke later, I have come to figure out that we all have faith in something. Whether if it's just faith in some statue that sits nice and pretty on a shelf, or even faith that rest solely in yourself. We have this empty void that will take us to great lengths to fill. But how can I know for sure if a God does exist, if He loves me, and if I can become a Christian after all I have done? To start with, we all have a faith in something, the problem is to find out what it is. To do that, let's look at a few of the more popular ones. First........ Atheism This is the most commonly known and the most widely accepted and used view than any other. Their main belief is that there is no God. Plain and simple, no double jeopardy needed. The most common explanation they can give for their beliefs is evolution. As a Christian I believe in a creation model, not of an evolution model. Listed below are the two models and their definition: Creation Model: What we observe today is the result of intelligent design, intelligent planning and purpose. A designer and planner used means beyond the natural laws of science (supernatural). Matter, energy and life originated at a point in time and originated from a supernatural source. Plants and animals are offspring of parents of the same kind; they do not have a common ancestor. Plants and animals were created instantly. Humans were created instantly as humans males and female, humans are not related to apes. Evolution Model: What we observe today is the result of chance events and long periods of time. There is no design and thus no designer behind anything in the Universe. Everything originated by way of natural processes subject to the natural laws of science over billions of years. The idea of supernatural intervention is rejected. Plants and animals are offspring from a common ancestor. So was the universe designed, or did it somehow happen over many, many years? This next section is an exert from a friend of mine named Bro. Bill Morgan, and is called, "Creation vs. Evolution, Which is the Better Explanation." I will email everyone the full version of this awesome study on evolution some time next week: In my opinion, the Universe is clearly the result of intelligent design,
plan and purpose. The Universe is incredibly orderly and complex. This
is not the result of chance natural events, it is the result of an intelligent
designer. Consider the microscopic world of the atom with the precise
mass ratio of the electron to the proton, or consider the large domain
of our solar system with the precise masses and orbits of the planets.
Consider photosynthesis, human reproduction, hearts, lungs, livers, kidneys,
eyes, etc. The conclusion that these complex systems are result of an
intelligent designer requires much less faith than the idea it arose by
time and chance. Mt. Rushmore, as your probably know, consist of the facial images of four ex Presidents on the side of a mountain. Suppose a tour guide told his tour group that those faces are "the result of billions of years of nature, such as glaciers, lighting and erosion." How long would the tour guide keep his job? What would the tour group think? He'd be fired by lunch time and his tour group would think he was insane! Those images obviously required planning, design and an artist. Suppose an anatomy teacher at your school taught that human faces are "the result of billions of years of nature, such as mutations, natural selection etc." How long would this anatomy professor keep his job? He would feel very secure in his job and might make Dean! The anatomy professor who taught that the human body appears to be the result of an intelligent design, is the one that potentially would be fired. Look at your computer. Suppose I tried to convince you that a glass factory, a plastic factory, a metal factory, a paint factory, and a silicon factory all exploded, started a fire and mixed together. The result of this explosion, chemical reaction, and time was your computer. You would never believe it. Your intellect and logic would cause you to passionately deny an explanation that an explosion and mixing of chemicals and time could ever produce something as functional and orderly like a computer. Don't let anyone convince you that your body is the end product of an explosion, the mixing of chemicals and time. Your body is infinitely more complex than your computer, which is because it was made by a smarter designer! - Bro. Bill Morgan So that brings us back to the question, is there a God, how can life go on and we see all of these wonders like the computer and Mt. Rushmore in front of us, yet we look outside at a new flower blossoming to show us its new born colors and we look at it like its just some mishap over billions of years. Living our lives day by day we ask our selves, how can this be, why can this happen, what can I believe? Which can you believe? Let's look at another view....... Pantheism A pantheism would take a bag of hamburgers and say, "That bag has God in it." Now I personally would say, "no that bag has food in it," as I run to scarf it all down. This is commonly known as the New Age Movement. As a Christian I believe that the Lord made everything, even something as little as the hamburger, because it had to come from a cow. Now if I started to eat my hamburger and it yelled. "Hey don't eat me, bow down because I’m God," not only would I have lost my appetite but lets just say that would be the last time I would ever eat a hamburger again. The Lord making something, and being in something are two different things. God may have made a duck, but he's not going to live in the duck and then use the duck to run around and chase you yelling, "Repent Sinner." The very first book of the bible states in verse 1 chapter 11: Then God said, "let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, witnessed in them, on the earth"; and it was so. (NASV) Now here it states the Lord said let there be plants. Not the Lord be the plant or live in the plant. In my opinion they took the Venus fly trap a little to far. The next view point is...... Deism The definition that this role takes is: God set the universe in motion and left it to its own result. God no longer interacts with man. So in other words, they believe in God but not in Jesus, and they think that God decided one day that He was going to have this new play area to watch over, so He made earth. Some where along those lines I’m assuming they think He got tired of it and wanted something new and different....I’m assuming He went off to make aliens next....not quite sure though. To imagine this view point let's say that you had a Nintendo and you didn't like it anymore, so you stopped messing with it and went to the Super Nintendo.....novelty of an idea, yes, right, I’ll let you make that choice. Matt 28:20 it reads: "I am with you always, even to the end of age." I'm not sure about you guys but most dad's wouldn't send their son to die for a world, but this isn't your ordinary dad here. This is our God. Hmmm for doing such a great thing for us maybe we should think of something special instead of a tie for next fathers day? The Lord is here and with us, He will never leave us. It is evident in all we do. We see miracles everyday. I made a 91/B in Algebra 2, that right there should be enough, but let me go further. In 1972, I think that is when it took place, Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, and Jordan, when up against Israel. The #'s that were massed against Israel were massive. USA thought that would be the end of Israel, we sent them weapons but no one would help Israel besides that. The attack took place all at the same time. Israel fighters took out all the enemies’ jets, tanks, supply stations, and so on in 5 min they never touched 1 dummy site. The Lord watches over those who are faithful, even when the devil tempts us we still have a way out. Through this and many other things, the fact that the Lord is still with us today and hasn't traded us in on a newer model is clear. Who says you can't teach an old human new tricks? Last and definitely not least...... Christianity There is one God. He created the universe, and we can know Him. This is the basic for Christians. The whole story is wrapped up in the sweet little book known as the Bible. You can even get a sexy carrying case to put it in too. In this book we find a real God with a real love and a grace that has been challenged for years, and each time comes out a winner. A Christian believes that Jesus Christ came to earth from heaven to die for our sins. We believe that God sent Him, and that He is the Son Of God. We believe that God made everything and that He loves us and cares for us, and made a place in heaven for us. I believe in Him because I used to be really out of it. After going through 2 divorces and I just took part in a second marriage of my step-dad today, I was in need of some one to fall back on. Living in poverty, then wealth, then all around, I have come to find out how it is in all different circumstances. I know what it feels like to be away from the Lords grasp, and I know what it feels like to be held tightly in his warm, and comforting arms. When all have left me and when all were gone, I knew one would always be there. He has helped me in every aspect of my life. If you would ask me to give you one reason why I believe, I would say because of love. Love was given to me when I needed it, my prayers were answered when I was crying for help, and love was on Jesus’s mind when he hung on the cross for us. I know this is only a temporary place to live and I know that there is going to be a better place to go to. One day I will be there, and I sure hope we can all meet in that big playground in the sky! If you have never accepted Jesus, if you have never known God before,
then I ask you to take this opportunity now. The greatest gift I could
possible give you, would not be a million dollars, a new fancy sports
car, or the love of your life, but the opportunity to have eternal life.
If you are a Christian and have turned from the Lord or if you have never
accepted Christ, I ask that you read on. I don't believe you found this
email by accident. Wow, were in a little predicament are we not? We now know we all have sinned and now we are all going to die because of it. Now if that doesn't ruin your day I don't know what will. Does this story have a happy ending? In John 3:3 it says, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." Hmm, things are starting to look a little up here. The Lord shows us that even though we are going to die, we can get off at the next exit and go to heaven, but only if we are born again. Well, I have already been born once and from what my Mom has told me, I don't know if I would really want to go through that again. So how do we become born again? In John 14:6 Jesus says, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Bingo!! There is our exit sign right there. This shows us that we can get off this Hell bound road by going through Jesus Christ. So this is the only way. OK turn your blinker on cause here we go. Romans 10:9-11says, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." It also says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." There you have it, all we have to do is confess our sins and in 2 Corinthians 5:15, "and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." That's it!! Confess and leave your past life behind you. Once you accept Him into your heart its a new beginning, a new life. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone who hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and him with me." Revolution 3:20. There is your invitation, the time is now and He just knocked on the door. Will you open the door and let Him in, or will you keep it shut? Its your move now. Before you can open the door we must look at 5 quick things to make sure
we have everything straight: Dear Heavenly Father:
